Priscilla Lalisse-Jespersen is an author and freelance journalist.

While today’s guest always considered writing to be her outlet, it was only after moving to Paris, France, that she finally found the inspiration to get her first novel together. A second book came soon after, and she also hit her stride as a freelance journalist, writing for the Washington Post and other outlets.

That all came crashing to a halt in 2014, when Priscilla was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. Her latest book, From Paris With Love, is a personal and supportive guide for breast cancer survivors.

To learn more about today’s guest, the creative magic of Paris, and how to get started as a freelance journalist, be sure to listen to today’s episode of The Fearless Storyteller podcast.
